AFL Round 17: Geelong vs. Richmond

The biggest game of the year is coming to Metricon Stadium on Friday 11 September! You don’t want to miss Geelong take on Richmond in this blockbuster Grand Final preview on our main deck.

Gates Open: 6:30pm

First Bounce: 7:50pm

Tickets are only available through Ticketek - please do not purchase through any third party ticket reseller as the tickets may not scan at the gate.

TRANSPORT INFORMATION:

Free event shuttle will operate for this game to and from Nerang Station starting from 6:15pm. Normal Translink public transport services are also operating - find your journey here: www.translink.com.au.

Parking in the Blue Carpark has now sold out. Patrons with pre-purchased parking permits will be able to access the Blue Carpark across the road.

The entrance to the carpark is OFF NERANG-BROADBEACH RD and opens 1 hour prior to gates.

Person with Disability (PWD) parking is available in the BLUE CARPARK for any ZONE 1 ticketholders or in the RED CARPARK for any Zone 2, 3 or 4 ticketholders. PWD Parking is free of charge with the valid disability parking permit on the dashboard.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

Metricon Stadium’s full conditions of entry are applicable to this match. The full list of permitted and prohibited items can be found HERE.

Water in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 1.5L will be permitted into the Stadium. Any unsealed bottles will be emptied at the entry gates. You will be able to refill your bottles with water from any open bar – just ask the bar staff to refill your bottle. Soft drinks or drinks other water (ex. Alcohol) will be permitted in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 600mL. All other sizes or unsealed bottles will be emptied on entrance to the Stadium.

Patrons may bring homemade food items or special dietary requirements into the Stadium provided they are packaged appropriately, and the items can be easily viewed by security if requested. Commercially branded takeaway food and beverage will not be allowed into the Stadium. No items in glass, crockery or cans will be allowed into the Stadium, including glass and metal water bottles.

Insulated drink containers (Thermos) will be permitted into the Stadium, however will be subject to a search at the gates.

COVIDSAFE INFORMATION:

Metricon Stadium follows a COVIDSafe Approved Plan by the QLD Government. When you arrive at the Stadium, you will notice some key differences since the implementation of our COVIDSafe plan: including; zones, ticketing, and sanitising stations.

The Stadium has been separated into zones and your allocated zone is indicated on your ticket. Please enter through the gate on your ticket - this is the only gate your ticket will scan at. When you arrive to your section, please follow the usher’s instructions to your section and row. In your row, please ensure there is ONE seat between you and the next group in your row.
