BBL10: Adelaide Strikers vs. Sydney Sixers

EVENT INFORMATION:

The Strikers are back at Metricon again this year but this time taking on the Sydney Sixers. There is no better way to spend the first Sunday of 2021!

Gates Open: 5:15pm

TRANSPORT INFORMATION:

Free event shuttles from Nerang Station will not operate for this event. Normal Translink public transport services are also operating - find your journey here: www.translink.com.au.

Parking is available across the road in the Blue Carpark to be pre-purchased through Ticketek. You can purchase the carpark pass HERE: https://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=BBLPARK421. The parking pass must be printed and placed on your dashboard on arrival to the carpark.

The entrance to the carpark is OFF NERANG-BROADBEACH RD and opens 1 hour prior to gates.

Person with Disability (PWD) parking is available in the BLUE CARPARK for any ZONE 1 ticketholders or in the RED CARPARK for any zone 3 ticketholders. PWD Parking will be charged on entry to the carpark for $10 with the valid disability parking permit on the dashboard.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

Metricon Stadium’s full conditions of entry are applicable to this match. The full list of permitted and prohibited items can be found HERE.

Water in a sealed, plastic contrainer, up to a maximum of 1.5L will be permitted into the Stadium. Any unsealed bottles will be emptied at the entry gates. You will be able to refill your bottles with water from any open bar – just ask the bar staff to refill your bottle. Soft drinks or drinks other water (ex. Alcohol) will be permitted in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 600mL. All other sizes or unsealed bottles will be emptied on entrance to the Stadium.

Patrons may bring homemade food items or special dietary requirements into the Stadium provided they are packaged appropriately, and the items can be easily viewed by security if requested. Commercially branded takeaway food and beverage will not be allowed into the Stadium. No items in glass, crockery or cans will be allowed into the Stadium, including glass and metal water bottles.

Insulated drink containers (Thermos) will be permitted into the Stadium, however will be subject to a search at the gates.

COVIDSAFE INFORMATION:

Metricon Stadium follows a COVIDSafe Approved Plan by the QLD Government. When you arrive at the Stadium, you will notice some key differences since the implementation of our COVIDSafe plan: including; zones, ticketing, and sanitising stations.

The Stadium has been separated into zones and your allocated zone is indicated on your ticket. Please enter through the gate on your ticket - this is the only gate your ticket will scan at. When you arrive to your section, please follow the usher’s instructions to your section, row and seat. You will be sitting next to, behind and in front of other people - this is the COVID Safe Plan approved by QLD Health.
